Chinoiserie Panels in Soft Green I

A statement of subtle sophistication, these soft green framed panels were designed after the classic Chinoiserie style. The Italians, English, and French used these designs on furniture, porcelain and fabrics and wallpaper in the 17th and 18th centuries.  Wallpaper scenes with fine birds, flowers and bamboo against a worn surface and framed in a deep frame space with a minimal frame.
